Planning a wedding at Colwick Hall, looking for more examples of Colwick Hall wedding photography?
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Beth and Adam’s wedding at Colwick Hall in Nottingham. Beth and her bridesmaids excitedly prepared upstairs awaiting the start of the marriage ceremony, while Adam relaxed downstairs with friends and family.
Colwick Hall is the ancestral home of the romantic, poetic Lord Bryron, making it the ideal venue for a wedding. The venue lies within over 60 acres of woodland and rolling Nottinghamshire countryside.
The bridal party then headed downstairs to the ceremony room, where a nervous Adam was waiting. After a joyful wedding ceremony, the couple and guests headed into the gardens to drinks and canopies. Luckily the sun was shining, which provided me with the ideal opportunity to grab a few family photos requested by the bride and groom.

I also went for a short walk with the couple, allowing me to grab some natural wedding portraits of them both. Once the ceremony room had been changed over, all the wedding party headed in to enjoy the wedding breakfast and speeches.
After the speeches, the bride and groom enjoyed a traditional Italian first dance accompanied by a live band. The guests proceeded to wrap Adam and Beth in hundreds of paper ribbons as is tradition, which made for some great photos.
