Nottingham University Wedding Photography

Getting married at Nottingham University, looking for examples of Nottingham University wedding photography? I recently had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Nicholas wedding there.

Nicholas and Stephaine originally met at university, so Nottingham University made a fitting backdrop for their day.

The day started with me photographing Stephanie and the bridesmaids preparations in De Vere Venues Orchard Hotel, University Park. There was a lovely fun and relaxed atmosphere which provided me with some excellent documentary wedding photography opportunities.

As the bride and bridesmaids were leaving De Vere Orchard Hotel, I grab a few quick shots of them leaving, before heading to the Trent Building to catch up with Nicholas and his groomsmen.

The ceremony was held in the Trent Building Nottingham University, which has a lovely white granite courtyard and clock tower.

Much laughter and emotion were shared during the ceremony. After the ceremony, we headed outside to do a fun confetti shot and a few group photos in the shade, as it was a sweltering summer’s day.

The wedding guests enjoyed their drinks reception in the gardens at the rear of the Trent building, before heading inside for a hearty wedding breakfast served by the staff at Nottingham University.

After the meal later in the day, close to sunset I headed out around the University grounds with Nicholas and Stephanie. Shooting some iconic photographs with the Nottingham sign and one of just the bride and groom in the balcony of the Trent Building after sunset.
